Bounce Feature

Just can't get it to work, following all the rules from the previous version. I know it is discouaged to even use bounce, but once in a while just knowing you have that ability. It's hard not to purchase at the Ten offering, but if it won't bounce, it becomes discouaging. I have loaded the latest version from 8-5-10

I found that the bounce feature didn't work if you have in the settings, accounts & outgoing, a tick placed where it says 'SMTP server requires authentication'. Once I unticked this feature I had no problems at all in bouncing...

That setting requirement is determined by your ISP Mail Server settings requirements. They should be the same as those for your email client.

I'm talking about the outgoing email not incoming where it has to be set. With the outgoing email with my ISP it doesn't matter whether it's set or not. Regardless, in Mailwasher Pro, the bounce feature wont work with it set but does if it isn't....

We've made it pretty clear the alterations to the bounce, and I see no reason to change this

I agree, the way it's set is good enough...
