Mailwasher latest version crashing systen

Wed Sep 08, 2010 9:01 am

Two computers, both running windows 7, one a laptop, crashed this morning with a graphics driver problem only while Mailwasher was open full screen. Once I closed Mailwasher, which was a few hours work, as nothing was responding, and was able to close mailwasher or to shrink it, all was OK again until I did a full screen and again the same problem

Now on my desktop, another problem, it seems to just freeze and do nothing after a while, even not full screen. Also It keeps bonging at me as it ries to get email at the same time as my ipad and iphone does. Never had this problem before but just with the latest versions.

I am going to have to shut down m,ailwasher and just use outlok until I get get it going properly again.

You most likely need to update the driver for you video card on the laptop. Several users with driver related problems. Fixed with updated drivers.

Desktop is likely the problem reported at the top of the forum. Go to Settings, Spam Tools, First Alert, Turn it off until problem is resolved.

I did update the driver, which was the latest anyway, so I redid it again, in case it was bad. No change. I had also just stopped the am filter as I saw it in another message, so I will wait for an update I guess.

FirstAlert no doubt will be probably causing an issue if it's on at present too, it's been playing funny games for about 6 hours now.
