Display Issues with Windows Blinds

Sun Sep 05, 2010 1:10 am

Anyone come across this problem when using different themes with windows blinds, the top part of mailwasher partially disappears. The program is fine with the default windows 7 settings, but custom themes do appear to affect the GUI. Incidentally this is on a Windows 7 64bit machine

There have been some reports, being an XP user I mostly giggled and skipped them though. :D

Are you on the latest version of MW? http://forum.firetrust.com/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=7265 -- 1.0.19? Sometimes the auto-updater has been missing that.

Is it a particular version of Windows Blinds ? I see there's a Demo/Enhanced/Object Desktop....

We aren't aware of any conflicts, but I don't think we've heard of any before either and it's not software we use.

Just reverted back to V6 until some of the obvious teething problems are resolved

I previously use WB for quite awhile but then stopped. I think I remember that you could via the WB options screen to "not" apply it to specific apps. Take a look and see if this is still available.

I am delighted to report that this worked perfectly. I had not realised this setting was available in Windows Blinds. Once again many thanks for the heads up on this one, you have solved what was an extremely irritating problem
