failed to log into pop3 server

Wed Sep 24, 2014 7:09 pm

i installed mw pro 7 and am using xp and hotmail.
I used the wizard to guide me thu the instillation and selected hotmail from the dropdown menu.
When I click on check mail it comes back with failed to login to pop3 server.
I believe I have the settings correctly set.
Is there anything else ! can check to see why this is happning?

Thanks for all your help guys.
The problem was the pop3 and apps were not enabled in Hotmail
To enable bring up Hotmail and click the cog wheel on the right. Then select options.
On the next frame click on connect devices and apps on POP3
On the next frame click on enable
This information was given to me from Jeremy at mailwasher support center.
Thanks Jeremy for your help
