Mailwasher Pro not opening after update

Mailwasher Pro not opening after update

I updated and now MWP will not open. The splash screen pops up but Task Manager - Applications shows 'not responding' - but under Processes it shows running - 35,092 K.
It worked great until I updated. I tried updating again and still doesn't work. What can I do? Thanks

I have no idea why, but without doing anything, it has now opened.

Glad it's working now, not quite sure what went wrong in that update though :/

With reference to texnpa's post of 18.11.2014 please also be advised that I am running Pro v7.4.0 and for the last 2 days Mailwasher Pro is not automatically starting when the computer boots up. I have to manually start the programme and the Mailwasher icon will then advise when new e-mails arrive. This problem has only commenced this week.

That might be your personal preference, but no more :nono


David, there's a problem right now with our installer removing these shortcuts, easiest way to add it back is go Settings >> General >> Application >> there's a startup option there which you can reset >> Save.

Apologies - my error - I thought that I had checked all my settings before I posted my problem. Indeed the startup option had reverted to "None" instead of " launch when Windows starts". The programme now launches on startup again.

I had exactly the same problem after this update so it has changed this without telling me so glad I found this post, thanks. I still use XP Pro maybe this has something to do with the problem and update?
