Right, got it, the Swedish file is junk.
Here is the right file Hans, if you Save this file in C:\ProgramData\Firetrust\MailWasher\Languages and replace the old it should work.

Re: MW fails after updating...
If you prefer Hans, you can uninstall MailWasher (keep your data files), then install again with this version which fixes the problem

Re: MW fails after updating...
My MWP 7.5 failed to start after the upgrade. Config: Win 7, custom locations on a flash drive for both the program and the data.
In the Win/7 task manager MWP 7.5 did not show in Applications. MailwasherPro.exe showed as a process, and the MWP startup flash screen showed, but it was unresponsive and nothing happened. It seemed like all I got was the splash screen. I uninstalled 7.5 and re-installed 7.4.1.
Any suggestions?

Let me try first a custom install with both proggie and data on a USB stick like yours and see if that's the issue.
Re: MW fails after updating...
We're getting a few reports of this, which is really quite odd. There is a database upgrade that needs to happen, and should be happening first so perhaps that's getting borked.diogenes wrote:My MWP 7.5 failed to start after the upgrade. Re: MW fails after updating...
OK, can rule that out, went smooth for me on my test setup which was the same Win7 with data and program installed to a Flash drive.
Did you have time for a remote session Ralph ? I'd expect 30-45 minutes probably.
Also too before you go installing anything more, I'd make a backup of everything first. You can do that via File >> Export...

Ralph, under Start >> Control Panel >> Programs and Features >> on the left select Turn Windows Features On and Off >> be sure that Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1 is enabled. If not, enable that then reinstall MailWasher.

I went back and tried an export without the learning data, and it did not crash.
I just tried to export with learning data, and it again crashed:

I'll try installing 7.5 after uninstall instead of upgrade.

Not really. It still regularly shows -999 Bayesian with the delete box unchecked after editing filters and coming back.rusticdog wrote:Aside from this crash, 7.4.1 is working correctly though ?

Re: MW fails after updating...
Some users are reporting after installing 7.5, if they do not launch MW, reboot the machine it then works. So you might want to try that.
