Activation key not working

Hi, I renewed my MWPro last week , received a receipt for the renewal.

As it was a renewal the directions said that I did not have anything to do...Great...A week later (today) when I start MSPro 7 I get a massage to saying i need to Activate the account.

I tried this using the Activation key but it was rejected saying " Unknown Error during Activation, Try again in 5 Minutes" I have been trying for 3 hours.

I sent a Support Ticket and got a response telling me to delete the Key.file and to restart MWPro and register again.

I tied this and I still a the same error "Unknown error ...try again in 5 minutes".

I contacted Firetrust support but am still waiting in a response.

Does any one have any suggestions???

I've emailed you your key.file, if you place this into the folder that opens under Help >> Common Files >> restart MailWasher.

That'll get the current license working at least. It sounds like MailWasher cannot access the registration server, but it's a standard HTTP connection on port 80, so I'm struggling to understand what might cause that.

Odd. Maybe one of our registration servers is playing up.
In the mean time I've emailed you your key.file as well.

Can you guys ping native.first-alert.net and let us know what IP address it comes back with.

eg. Go to Start>>Run, type cmd.exe and that will bring up the Command Prompt window. Type in the window ping native.first-alert.net

It will be either 209.213.221.161 , 209.213.221.163 or 209.213.221.164

Also, can you check your antivirus programs are not blocking this activation link, I had a user last week with Vipre antivirus and it was blocking the link so the user couldn't activate until he allowed it (or I think we temporarily disabled Vipre antivirus to do it)

in fact just deleted the key.file and now nothing but yet it is pinging your servers?

Please try this.

Go to MailWasher>>Help>>Common Files. This will open a folder.

Close Mailwasher by going to File>>Exit (this is important to do it this way - don't just minimize Mailwasher).

Delete the file in the open folder called key.file

Restart Mailwasher. Enter your registration key and it should register
