Wrong number of reported emails

This has been ongoing for awhile now. I've been ignoring it but now it's starting to irk me. Mailwasher (7.7 Pro) will show the popup saying (for an example) 7 new emails. I open Mailwasher but it's only showing 2 new emails.

My email client is Thunderbird (38.5) and I have it set to not download emails on it's own. It's also set to not leave mail on the servers.

If it's a uninstall/reinstall, where would I find the registration key? I apparently didn't save the last email (would've been May 2015) with my registration number. The email with a number is from 2014. Would the registration number be the same?

It's a bug that irks many of us. There is no work around, apart from switching off the popup (Settings - General - Notifications), or patience for the wait until it is fixed.

I suggest that you go to Settings, Accounts, Incoming Tab and turn off the Cache Option for each account.

Ok, thanks, that was my problem too. I thought that somehow I had lost emails, but now I know it's a bug I can ignore it.

Hi, I am running MW 7.9.0 and I am also having this problem.
Am I to assume that the issue has not yet been fixed?
In the meantime I have done what was suggested to samsong.
So I'll just have to wait and see what effect that has on this newer version.

You might try removing both of the Pipelining Options in your MWP account settings.
