MWP 7.8 will not restore

Hello,

I've migrated my wife to a new computer and got MWP setup. From the Outlook email clinic, I setup her Comcast.net account as an IMAP so that the data on her computer and phone are in sync. I believe MWP is set to POP3. This is how my setup is. Anyway, I "moved", no copied which was my first mistake, from the Inbox within Outlook that was downloaded from the server to the IMAP inbox. I then deleted the emails showing in MWP, strike two I believe, and now her email client that is setup as IMAP is no longer seeing any new messages.

The emails are however in the Recycle Bin in MWP. When I select a message and hit RESTORE, it say "0 f 1 messages restored" I suspect the wife is going to hire a fire squad if I can't figure out how to restore these messages.

Thoughts?

I did check and verified SMTP is setup correctly.

You can try changing your SMTP port from 465 to 587.

If it still fails to work, you can try using a free Gmail account for your SMTP needs. :thumbsup

Some email providers do not support Restore.
I had to create a free GMail account and set that as the "Fallback Account" in settings.

Odd, my reply didn't seem to post. In any event, changing the port did the trick.
