Spoofed, not actual address blacklisted

Wed Nov 23, 2016 11:59 am

MailwasherPro 7.8.0 shows me an email with my own address displayed as the 'from' but also shown in parentheses is the spammer's address. If I hit the '-' key to blacklist, it's my address added to the blacklist and not the spammer's. MW should not be blacklisting the display address when it 'knows' the reported 'from' address. As far as I know, MW has always worked like this and it's clearly a flaw.

Do you still have the email ? If so, if you view the message in Raw Source view, and copy/paste that information into a text file and meail it to me at forum@firetrust.com

Thanks

Instead of depending on the unreliable Blacklist (or Friends List,) it is better to bank on an anti-spoofing filter.
