add domain or sender to blacklist

How should I determine between adding the domain or sender to blacklist?

Suppose you got a spam email from [email protected], if you add the sender then all emails from Ted will be blacklisted, if you block the domain then all emails from Firetrust will be blacklisted.

So when you get a spam email, say from a GMail or Outlook address, adding the domain I imagine is not what you want, as a lot of us normal people use those services. But when it's from something like system56solar.info, a company/domain you've never heard of, then blacklisting the domain is more appropriate.

Re:enable separate setting of sender and domail in blacklist

Allow SEPARATE and MUTUALLY INDEPENDENT settings of 'sender' and 'domain' to blacklist settings. I never know which to pick the way it is now.

So you could set "sender", "domain" or BOTH if desired. Right now spoofers tend to change one or the other, but not both. Of course, if they do change both, blacklisting has no effect. But the evidence is that they usually change one or the other but not both. And you never know which.
