I'm sure the solution to this is somehwere on the forum but I cannot find it.
I use MW to filter two accounts, both IMAP, one is a company account and the other is Gmail. I would like to be able to retein downloaded emails in my Outlook after I have deleted them in MW. Is there a way to do this other than by moving the emails into different folders in Outlook?
Thank you for your help.

You can configure Gmail to keep the mails.
MailWasher Pro (βeta) | Windows 11 Enterprise LTSC (22H2) | The Bat! Professional (βeta) | Windows 10 Firewall Control (βeta) | ESET Endpoint Antivirus (βeta) | nVIDIA GeForce (GTX 1060) | WebView2 Runtime (118.0.2088.61) | .NET Framework (4.8.1)

Re: Keeping emails in Oulook
It's a Gmail setting on the web — just ensure that the MailWasher protocol is set to POP3:—

Re: Keeping emails in Oulook
Thank you. I have been into Gmail on the web and made the selections you suggested. I have been into MW and changed my gmail setting to POP3. In Outlook my gmail is still configured as IMAP. Should I delete that account and set it up again as POP3?

Re: Keeping emails in Oulook
From the privacy and also speed points of view, my personal preference (especially where Gmail by Google is concerned,) is to use POP3 instead of IMAP — at the cost of being labeled paranoid.
In case you do decide to change your IMAP protocol in Outlook to POP3, you can also change your Gmail settings on the web to delete Gmail's copy.
