I have a few accounts I check with MW7 but recently I have added a new one. The difference with the others is that the domain is SSL protected.
I set up the account using all the login details and appropriate ports numbers 995 for incoming and 465 for outgoing.
Everything works fine and emails are coming through to my Thunderbird account.
Only problem is that, after a wash, the email notifications still stay in MW7 when all the others are cleared. I have noticed there is a grey arrow comes through to Thunderbird - never seen this before.
I know there is a setting somewhere that will sort this annoying thing out. Anyone help?

Re: Account with SSL
Ensure that you have both (Thunderbird and MailWasher, as well) setup for POP3 (instead of IMAP) — then, use this illustration as a reference point.

Re: Account with SSL
I am running v.7.11.0 and the settings for general, incoming and outgoing tabs look nothing like that. It is running on Windows 10 if that makes any difference. Can I PM you with a screen dump to show you what my set up is?

You seem to be looking at MailWasher settings — my illustration was with reference to your Thunderbird settings.bongolier wrote:I am running v.7.11.0 and the settings for general, incoming and outgoing tabs look nothing like that.
Sure, in case it fails to workout for you — you might want to check out this instruction-set on posting screenshots.bongolier wrote:Can I PM you with a screen dump to show you what my set up is?

I was looking at MW setting not Thunderbird, I have now checked these and problem seems to be fixed. Many thanks.
By the way - I notice you guys are based in Christchurch. We visited NZ from Scotland a couple of years ago. Only stayed in North Island - planning to visit South Island next time.
You are so lucky to live in NZ - its a fantastic place (beats Scotland!)
