Error Message

Dear All,

I keep getting error messages "Failed to log in to POP3 Server" for all my AOL accounts. They were IMAP accounts up to 2 weeks ago when I got the same message for the IMAP accounts so I changed to POP3 hoping to cure this failure to log in. It only happens on the AOL accounts, and the settings have been variously:

993 and 587
995 and 465

All the settings are as recommended and the Mailwasher has worked flawlessly for years until this started. Have you any ideas, it's driving me to distraction.

Does deleting the affected accounts and then creating them from scratch help?

It it does not, you might want to post a screenshot of your MailWasher Incoming tab {Inbox >>----> Settings >>----> Accounts >>----> (select the affected account) Incoming.}

Before taking the screenshot make sure that the Advanced branch is expanded.

Before posting the screenshot make sure that your e-mail ID is obfuscated/deleted.
