Most programs will have an occasional glitch every now and then but my problem with Mailwasher - that I've had for many years with no issues - has become frequent and is consistent.
It will be up and running for a while when suddenly a window pops up indicating "The Mailwasher program has stopped running. Close program".
Is there a "Repair" option offered if I click on "Uninstall?" I don't want to uninstall it if I don't have to but maybe that would be the solution?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thank you.

Re: Mailwasher 7.11.0 stops working
Can you send me your logs folder. If you go Help >> Send Support Logs >> enter a brief note like 'constant crashing' >> in the Ticket Number field enter chris >> Send Logs.
If you can reply back once sent, so I know to be on the lookout for them.
Cheers

Unfortunately I cannot locate the logs. Can you instead go into Help >> User Files >> there will be a file called autosupport.eml >> if you can send me that file to forum@firetrust.com

I have a similar problem. The mail wash function has stopped working. I think I have turned on the log function...

Can you do the above.

Also RonHayes, you have my sincerest apologies as I thought I had replied to this thread, but looking at this post tells me I did not. Unfortunately the log file autosupport.eml you sent, had no crashes logged that day. So please, when you get a chance can first make sure MW has crashed that day, then do the above Send Support Logs etc....this will create a new autosupport.eml file for you to email me.
Again, very sorry about that.
Cheers

Re: Mailwasher 7.11.0 stops working
OK. To flesh out my problem a bit, mail wash is removing the graphic of the deleted email from Mailwasher, but not deleting it off the server, so it's DLed into Thunderbird when I check mail. I'm a many years user of the old freeware Mailwasher written by the New Zealander, but I'm brand new to the graphic version. I had a crash and lost my installation file. I'll try to send the log this afternoon...

Re: Mailwasher 7.11.0 stops working
Great.
First thing I would like you to try is install this version http://cdn.firetrust.com/downloads/mail ... 122017.exe
It will install fine over the top.
It has a small fix related to OAUTH (which your account is using) and timing out, which could help.
2nd thing, would be to slightly extend the time between checks. Maybe instead try 4-5 minutes, and see if that improves stability.
Last would be if you have an active AntiVirus email scanner, if so I would consider disabling just the email scanner module, and see again if that improves the stability.
The short version of the issue, is MailWasher is timing out when trying to connect when it does a Wash Mail, when this occurs an internal command is sent to terminate the connect attempt, and this is where it's crashing. It is unusual to be getting a crash at this point.
