Apart from all my other troubles with WLM I now see that in the account section of MW it says susan/INBOX twice, I cannot wash either mail. What does this mean please.

Hi Susan
You mean under Settings >> Accounts >> it's displaying two INBOX listings under the IMAP tab ?

Re: Something new
Hi Rusticdog,
No, across the strap at the top where it says subject...arrived....account. underneath account is a list of mail received and at the moment I have four that says susan and two that says susan/INBOX . The two I cannot wash, I have only one account so I don't know where this other comes from.
Thankyou for your help though.
Susan.

Re: Something new
Gotcha.
Can you just restart MailWasher and recheck the account, do these rogue messages return ?

Re: Something new
restarted my pc and the rogue messages were gone, problem ....so were all my other messages and they were not in my recycle bin, in fact there was nothing in my recycle bin for the past week. Also when I restarted MW it came up with a box asking for my password, I have never set up a password for MW so what is going on. Good job I have a set stock of passwords so found one that opened MW.

Now that you'e done the restart, what about WLM, is that working ?
I agree this is quite odd, and doesn't sound right. The loss of data you talk about is either a corruption, or you have multiple user accounts on the machine, and are logged into a different one than the one that deleted the emails.

OK. Have you noticed anything else different since you restarted the machine ?sloppy33 wrote:restarted my pc and the rogue messages were gone, problem ....so were all my other messages and they were not in my recycle bin, in fact there was nothing in my recycle bin for the past week. Re: Something new
WLM still not working, something about cannot connect to server error 0x800ccc0e. There is only me so I only have one account but MW seems to be working ok except that washing is not transferred to WLM, this is where I came in really. I have used MW and WLM alongside for years so why it is going wrong now I havnt a clue. A whole morning wasted really and no further forward. I have put out feelers on the social network to see if I can find someone to come and take a look but no replies as yet.

Re: Something new
I expect there is just a setting that needs a kick.
In WLM under Accounts >> Properties >> Servers >> can you detail what's here or post a screenshot ? There is also an Advanced tab in the same area, the information there is useful.
Optionally, if you bring that up, then go to MailWasher, Settings >> Accounts >> Incoming >> click Advanced >> compare the two for any variations in server address. username, ports etc...
