Cannot import Gmail contacts

Just installed 7.11.0 on Win10 and wanted to import my contacts from Gmail. However when I try this I get a gmail auth code and instruction to open my application and paste it - where do I paste this?

Same here.

I contacted support and tried all their suggestions, none of which worked.

Maybe changes to how Google validates external applications/programs has changed and has broken the "Import Contacts" function of Mailwasher ?
