Old, Downloaded IMAP Messages Still Show in MWP 7.11.5
I have 2 IMAP accounts. GMail and TWC.com and am using Outlook 2016 as my email client running on Windows 10 Pro 64 bit. My gmail account works fine in MWP but my old email messages from TWC still show in MWP even though they have been downloaded to outlook and everything is marked as read. How do I fix this?

Under Settings >> Accounts >> Incoming >> Advanced >> is download Read emails checked ?
Also too, the account is setup in MailWasher as IMAP for sure, not perhaps POP in MailWasher, IMAP in Outlook ?

Download Read Emails is not checked. Server Type is set to IMAP in MWP and Outlook.

OK. If you have not already, restart MailWasher.
If that doesn't resolve the issue, be sure your MailWasher settings for server address/username, match exactly what Outlook is using as well.
Of that doesn't help, then I would remove the account from MailWasher >> Restart the program >> Import the account again from Outlook.

None of those helped. I finally deleted the old email but then I got an error message "IComparer has failed to compare the values."; what does this message mean?

Are you now getting this message constantly ?
If I understand it correctly, it's caused by a mismatch in what MailWasher is displaying and what it thinks it should be displaying.
If it's happening consonantly, I expect there will be a problem with MailWasher retrieving the emails properly, and we'll need to look into that.

Not getting the message anymore but it takes a long time for MWP to check my email accounts, especially my gmail IMAP account.

If you go Help >> Send Support Logs >> enter a brief note like 'slow checking' >> in the Ticket Number field enter chris >> Send Logs.
Reply back once sent, so I know to be on the lookout for them.

Re: Old, Downloaded IMAP Messages Still Show in MWP 7.11.5
The issue that seems to be here is the volume of emails in the GMail Inbox, touching on 54000.
We want to get MailWasher able to check accounts with more detail, like only last few days etc...but until we do that alteration all I can suggest is one the following.
Change to POP in MailWasher and use Recent Mode. https://support.google.com/mail/answer/7104828?hl=en
This loads if I recall, the last 30 days of messages.
If you change the account type to POP3, and add to your username recent: so for example it cwould then read recent:administrator@gmail.com that will enable this option.
Move messages from Inbox into subfolder. As you'll see in Outlook, you have subfolders of your GMail messages, MailWasher by default only checks the Inbox, so if you move messages from that folder into a subfolder you create that will reduce the time it takes to check the account.
It looks like you've done this in the past as I see folders already like "Inbox Through March 2017"

I haven't changed from IMAP to POP (have several devices I use to check mail especially while travelling) but I made new subfolders in Inbox. I now have 4888 messages in GMAIL-IMAP Inbox, 435 messages in Hotmail Inbox and 2283 messages in TWC-IMAP Inbox. I also ran new support logs and sent them to you. Checking email in MWP still seems slow.

OK. There is still around 32000 in the GMail Inbox, however I notice it's dropping rapidly.

So I suspect the moving of the messages is still happening in the background. I'd wait a bit to allow that to complete, then try again.
You could also temporarily switch off DNSBLs and FirstAlert under Settings >> Spam Tools. Each has their own section. Though I don't expect it to make any difference it does add some delay into the process.
I'm offline for next few days unfortunately, but let me know how it progresses.
Cheers
