Mail Program not working?

Mail Program not working. Running Win 10 had no problems before now. Mailwasher boots up when I start my PC, fine. Wash Mail, fine. Click Mail Program, nothing. A note here when I used Mailwasher before after washing mail it automatically booted my Windows Live email program to suck in the emails. Not anymore. All my settings are exactly the same as before? Any answers?

Under Settings >> General >> Washing Mail >> can you check that Windows Live Mail is selected in the drop down list.

I take it you haven't installed any other mail programs lately, and Windows Live Mail still starts fine when opening through regular methods ?

OK. Go again to Settings >> General >> Washing Mail >> try first just selecting MailWasher to use another program in the list >> Save >> change it back to Windows Live Mail >> Save.


Also, just to clarify, MailWasher always opens WLM when using Wash Mail, it's only when you use the Mail Program button it does not open at all ?

No it doesn't open WLM when I Was Mail, it used to do but not anymore. Before I didn't even have to click Mail Program.

OK, try setting MailWasher directly to the WLM file.

Go Settings >> General >> Washing Mail >> in the drop down select 'Use Other Application' and hit Browse >> in the popup you want to navigate to the EXE which should be
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Live\Mail\wlmail.exe"

Optionally, you could copy and paste that exact line above into that field also.

Save.


Hopefully that gets things back working again.

It worked!!! Your now a computer geek its official!!! I clicked the drop down box and windows live mail was hiding there. Reloaded Mailwasher and it loaded up WLM!
