MW Pro 7.11.0, Win 10. For the past three weeks, an email coming from a list-serve has stopped showing the From and Subject fields in MWP. The Email Header window shows the subject, and in my email client, Sylpheed, everything shows. Where should I be looking for the source of the problem? Screenshots attached - top window, email header window, in Sylpheed (text-based, POP3).

Under Settings>> General >> Checking Mail >> lift the spam throttle to around 500 lines, should be enough hopefully.

Thanks. Mine was at 400. In terms of follow up on this adjustment, I'll be away and won't be able to see these emails again until August.

Actually, just saw you were on 7.11.0, download latest beta version, that has a fix for same issue you describe so might not be related to spam throttle

OK, can you copy/paste the full source of one of these emails into a text file and send that to me at forum@firetrust.com
I've recently come across this happening to another person, the header is so long that MailWasher is aborting the attempt to find the From and Subject, so if that's the same it's a fairly simple fix.

Got it thanks. Will add to list for programmers to check out. Does look to be the same long headers, that's almost 300 lines
In interim, you could create a custom filter to flag these emails specific to this group, at least then they'd stick out more if you wanted them to.

I see in the new changelog, "Fix for long headers not displaying Subject/From in message list." Finally! There probably won't be a test of it until the end of the week, but hopefully it's really solved. Thanks,

Not solved. The listings in MWP still show blank for subject and sender
