I have the same problem as described from "mjmsyd" today, but the diagnosis was different from his. (I followed the prosedure you described, but it didn't work for me.
The diagnosis says:

Re: Restore e-mails not working
This is for your GetMail account ? If so, their recommended settings are here (I think) https://www.get.no/12508/problemer+med+ ... tta+e-post
I would also update to 7.11.5 which I don't believe you are using
http://cdn.firetrust.com/downloads/mail ... 122017.exe
If above doesn't help, then can you try sending some logs.
If you first make the error happen with the settings you believe correct, then go Help >> Send Support Logs >> enter a brief note like 'cannot restore' >> in the Ticket Number field enter chris >> Send Logs >> reply back here once sent.
Thanks

Re: Restore e-mails not working
OK thanks. The logs didn't come through, but that's expected as the sending system is the same as restoring an email
So instead, can you go into Help >> User Files >> there will be a file in there called autosupport.eml >> if you can email me that file to forum@firetrust.com
Thanks

Re: Restore e-mails not working
Great, just got the logs.
Can you first try setting MailWasher to use TLS and not SSL. Under Settings >> Accounts >> Outgoing >> Advanced >> change the Secure Connection to TLS.

Re: Restore e-mails not working
Done so. Now the restore prosess works fine, but the restored mail doesn't show up in the Inbox after checking mail.

OK, that's a start. If you can send me another set of logs now that it seems to process, go Help >> Send Support Logs >> enter a brief note like 'cannot restore' >> in the Ticket Number field enter chris >> Send Logs >> reply back here once sent.KnutR wrote:Done so. Re: Restore e-mails not working
No that's fine, the logs came through all OK.
Unfortunately, the logs seem to show the emails you restore as being sent all OK. I say unfortunately, as once a message gets accepted for sending, MailWasher has no further control on its actual arrival.
When MailWasher sends a message, it gets a final acknowledgement which says the message was accepted. Looking like this
Optionally, if you try sending yourself a new message, delete that, then try a restore, does that work instead of trying to restore older messages ?
Thanks.

Now it worked ok, both for new and older e-mails at the start, but after a few restorings the mails doesn't show again. Very weird.

Re: Restore e-mails not working
OK sure. There might be a delay in the messages arrival, or more likely a setting that prevents a certain number of messages being sent every xx minutes. At least now you know the settings are good, and hopefully it doesn't interfere with trying to restore a legitimately deleted message.KnutR wrote:Now it worked ok, both for new and older e-mails at the start, but after a few restorings the mails doesn't show again.
