Unstable, crashing, acting wierd

Mon Aug 20, 2018 3:47 am

Yes, I have uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. The program gets squirlly when the computer goes into sleep mode for the night. I get an “Unknown Error” in the log after each “Check Mail Request” with the following detail:

Description: An unknown error has occurred. MailWasher is unable to determine the cause of this error.

Diagnosis: <EVENT><NAME>MWPEXCEPTION</NAME><ID>c442a709944896129d468ea8921e06c6</ID><DT>2018-08-15 06:49:33</DT><MWPEXCEPTION><UID>Exception 9e8d81aabfefca78d5c2270160305c60</UID><AID>Acct178421568</AID><SOURCE>MWPfetch::FetchThread()</SOURCE><MESSAGE>Unknown error</MESSAGE><ADDXML></ADDXML></MWPEXCEPTION><ORDINAL>0</ORDINAL></EVENT>

Upon crashing, the log disappears. The program ran great on this same computer for years and now it's not. What should I try that won't wipe out all the blacklists, filters, etc?

I'm using Mailwasher Pro, v 7.11.6, Windows 10 Pro, Asus G75V laptop, i7, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD, 1 TB conventional drive.

Hi Ron

If you check out this link, https://www.pugetsystems.com/labs/suppo ... ation-793/ down the bottom it shows how to get to Hybrid Sleep options, can you check if that is set and if so, try disabling.

OK. I would then next try running a .NET Repair, https://www.microsoft.com/en-nz/downloa ... x?id=30135

Should that not resolve the issue, then try removing the account from MailWasher >> restart the program >> add the account back.
