Filtered Mail Loading in Email Client

I use spam filtering and the filtered emails load when I start my email client. What gives?

Sorry for the delay. Can you clarify, you mean you have deleted the mails in MailWasher, but they still load in the email program ? Or you wish to stop your email client from automatically retrieving messages on startup
