I used to have mailwasher set to invoke outlook.exe but that no longer works. How can I get this working again.

It no longer opens Outlook at all ? What is selected under Settings >> General >> Washing Mail >> as your email program to open....

I have three choices:

• Hotmail
• Use other application
• Use web address

For "Use other application" I get the opportunity to browse for an executable.

I found the executable at

• "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.Office.Desktop.Outlook_16040.10827.20138.0_x86__8wekyb3d8bbwe\Office16\OUTLOOK.EXE"

I cannot get to that using the browse button. Windows says I do not have permission to even get into the directory C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\.

I pasted that whole thing into the field but that simply causes Mailwasher to exit when trying to use it.

Problem was MS Office was not installed. I got a new computer and didn't install MS Office 365. I was fooled by the fact that Outlook and other MS Office apps WERE installed (somehow). I simple did a full install of Office 365 and all is now working a expected.
