I recently changed my Gmail password and have been configuring Mailwasher to use this new password but at the same time I got a security messaged (from Google) blocking someone using my password from an I.P. address at 64.235.44.251. This IP address is situated in Las Vegas and is a data centre. As I am in the UK I was wondering if this was Mailwasher automatically not being able to connect my account through computers in Las Vegas.

Is the IP address 64.235.44.251 linked to Mailwasher so I can confirm that it was me who was trying to log in etc?

If someone can respond with a definite answer so I can secure my accounts instead of loads of people posting the same problem on here that would be very helpful for anyone with this same problem.

Thank you in advance

Do you perhaps have a VPN installed ?

64.235.44.251 isn't ours, but looks to have a history of GMail interaction. https://www.abuseipdb.com/check/64.235.44.251

Thank you very much `rusticdog` . That was very helpful in ruling out Mailwasher for the IP address.

On the "abusIP" link two mentioned App Annie, and as I had a direct connection with this site (for my app dev) I am thinking that this is just an automated connection behind the scenes (seeing as the IP address is a data bank and not some dodgy single person etc.) and Google can't recognise the difference from an automated site trying to access a previous working Google account where a user has changed their password recently.

I shall keep on monitoring this IP address
