Downloaded email

Since the last update emails that have been downloaded to Outlook and read, still show in the MailWasher Inbox as new emails.

Under Settings >> Accounts >> Incoming >> is the account setup in MW as IMAP ? >> if you click Advanced >> is Download Read Mail checked ?

Hi

The 2 main accounts are POP3, under the advanced settings - PIPELINING "Enable for deleting mail" is checked.
On the IMAP email account the setting "Download read e-mails is checked (period 7 days)

OK. For the IMAP account I would uncheck Download Read Email. When you read the email in Outlook it flags it on the server as Read, and in turn MailWasher will no longer load that message.

For POP3 accounts, this isn't an available feature. What you want to do is set Outlook to delete the email off the server once it is downloaded. It depends what version Outlook you have on specific instructions, but hopefully this helps

It is possible those accounts that are POP3 in MailWasher are setup as IMAP in Outlook. If they are, then in MailWasher change them to IMAP under Settings >> Accounts >> Incoming >> and also be sure Download Read EMail is off.
