Issue with Google sign-in

I just updated my Mailwasher Pro to 7.12.1. When Mailwasher tries to connect to Gmail, I get this error message:

"Sign in with Google temporarily disabled for this app
This app has not been verified yet by Google in order to use Google Sign In."

I attempted to attach a screenshot of the actual message, but got an http error message each time. Not sure if the image will show in this post.

I've never seen this issue before with this or any other app. Any suggestions how to overcome it?

Can you try again, should be fixed now.

You can also go into Settings >> Accounts >> Incoming >> Advanced > uncheck Use OAUTH >> Save.
If you do that you also need to have Less Secure Apps set to ON here https://www.google.com/settings/security/lesssecureapps

I'm having the exact same problem. I've been using MailWasher for years. I have all my gmail accounts set up to allow the less secure app access. Two days ago I wiped my computer clean and reinstalled Windows. Now I can't even check my email with MailWasher because of it.

All your GMail accounts are failing, but other accounts you have in MailWasher are working ?

Check first you have latest version of MailWasher, 7.12.6

If you don't have other accounts working in MailWasher, then possibly it's a software firewall blocking MailWashers internet access.

Next check the password(s) entered is correct, in the newer version you can use the 'eye' icon to display the password.

I had someone last night, whose despite changing the Less Secure Apps option it didn't save properly, so just be certain it's on https://myaccount.google.com/lesssecureapps

Here https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#settings/fwdandpop be sure that "Enable IMAP" is set, or if you use POP to access the account, there is another option there. I prefer to use "Enable POP for mail that arrives from now on"

Awesome!! Thank you!!! I'd tried/checked all of those things except for the update (I only have gmail accounts, nothing else, so I didn't have that to compare either)! Apparently I had an older version that I installed after resetting windows. Once I updated, it's working fine!! I really appreciate the response! NOW I can check my email! LOL!
