Notification issue with extended 4k display monitors

I recently replaced my two 2k monitors that were configured as an extended display. I upgraded to 4K 27" monitors, scaled to 200%. My system tray is located in the lower right of the main, left-hand monitor. When new mail arrives the balloon alert appears in the bottom-right corner of the right monitor. Also, if I hover over the Mailwasher icon in the system tray the contextual menu appears in the far-right as well. The other programs and icons in the tray display normally, appearing in the system tray, and this issue only occurred since I upgraded. The Firetrust support team doesn't have an explanation, but has anyone else experienced the same issue? It's not a big deal, obviously, since I configured the tray icon to display the rotating envelope .gif when new mail arrives, but it is a minor inconvenience in using the product.

I've seen discussion about this problem with a user who was stuck on older drivers, though I don't recall there was any solution in their instance as they had a hardware limitation preventing the upgrade.
Graphics drivers would be my first thought.
Would be interested to hear of any others too, as they could be a situation we aren't catering for, but in our testing it seems to behave as expected.

I have a similar problem.
My Windows is scaled up to 125%.
The MailWasher (version 7.11 PRO) shows the context menu and mail notifications on the second monitor.
If the second monitor is off, I do not have access to the context menu and I can not see notifications.

Additional information.
The location of the context menu (on 1 or 2 monitor) depends on the distance of the MailWasher icon from the right edge of the main monitor.

I use Windows 8.1. As a workaround because the contextual menu appears on the second monitor I pinned Mailwasher to the taskbar on the main monitor: right-clicking on it displays contextual options to open/switch to Mailwasher or to exit the program.
