Key has been registered too many times

Setting up a new laptop, and got this message last night! We currently have Mailwasher installed on two computers, this will make the 3rd. Last night I was trying to use the key and it said 3 times it was an invalid key. I confirmed that it was valid by looking on our online account. Next time I tried it told me it had been registered too many times.

Please help!

One more question, if I may! We are installing on a new Windows 10 laptop, with a profile for me and one for my husband. Can it be installed and registered once, and both of us can use it on our profiles?

The registration saves per machine, so once registered it will be registered for all profiles.
