Just had the 1903 update to Windows 10 and some .net updates.
Mailwasher Pro was working fine before this, but afterwards it has gone wrong. It starts up and I get the initial start-up sequence visible on the screen but the normal large main screen does not appear. I get the icon on the taskbar.
If I move my cursor around I can locate an invisible window. And if I move the cursor around I get the normal tooltips being displayed where they would be. I can even get the drop-down help menu. Just no main screen.
I have deinstalled Mailwasher Pro and reinstalled. I get the same effect.
I found Setup.XML and deleted it.
Still not displaying but the program appears to be working otherwise. Would be nice to see it again
Any ideas?

Try downloading and running the .NET Repair utility first

Failing that, delete the startup.xml file in C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Roaming\Firetrust\MailWasher and see if MW starts properly then

Re: Main screen has gone invisible
Thanks for reply. Tried that but it didn't work.
I have looked at the new installs on the computer. I see that several Microsoft Visual C ++ Redistributables have been updated yesterday i.e. 2005, 2008 and 2010. I wonder if it's something in there.

It's updating here now... What seems odd to me, is that W10 is updating to 1903 while the .net framawork seems to be updating to 1809 (see screenshot()

Re: Main screen has gone invisible
The C++ libraries won't matter, the user interface for MailWasher doesn't use those.
Try checking for Windows Updates again, just in case and install and reboot if any.
Another option could be a graphics driver update, do you know what (if any) hardware you have ?
Cheers

Re: Main screen has gone invisible
I have found it.
I discovered that one other program, System Mechanic, was also affected. It affected nothing else. This meant it was not a Mailwasher Pro specific issue.
It was DUET DISPLAY which allows you to attach an iPad to act as a second screen. Something must be in the 1903 update which affected this and had a knock-on effect in both Mailwasher and System Mechanic.
I have removed this program, rebooted and it is all back to normal.
Thanks for the help.
