Friends and Auto Delete

Hopefully a simple question

I have a number of online accounts where I have subscribed to newsletters but over the years my e-mail address has changed so on many I receive more than one copy. One for each address I have used to register.

What I want to do is use MW to filter out the duplicates.

I have set the originator of the mail as a Friend but also created a rule that Auto_Deletes a message from them if addressed to a redundant email address of mine as well. The question is will MW delete a mail from someone on my Friends list or will that take priority over any filter I setup?

MailWasher will delete anything in you tell it to in a Custom Filter, as long as the conditions are met.

I'd always recommend running the filter for a time not on auto-delete, be sure it's tagging correctly. More than once I've wiped a heap of messages from some bad filter creation.
