I'm beginning to see a lot of spam with no reply-to address and additionally, spam that uses my own email address in the reply-to. This is forcing me to spend a lot of time clicking the 'Show Email Info' link and examining the header. Two requests come from this. First, I'd like the option to block all email with no reply-to and my second is a long-standing request. If I blacklist an email, MailWasher should never, ever, blacklist the same email address as is listed among my accounts. This must be flagged as an error.

First one is fairly straight forward.

You can create a Custom Filter that checks the HEADER, DOESN'T CONTAIN, PLAIN TEXT, REPLY-TO
I would personally add a second rule to that filter, clicking the drop down beside Add Rule, select Spam Tool rule >> and choose 'Sender is not on my friends list'
Then change the filter to need to match ALL rules, not ANY.

That adds an extra layer of protection against emails from your Friends where a REPLY-TO may be missing. I'm not sure on what circumstances this might happen, more being safe.


Second one can be trickier. Someone who never sends themselves emails, can blacklist their address knowing any message from them is spam.

Again a Custom Filter is probably the way to go, check if the FROM field, CONTAINS, PLAIN TEXT, email address...
One rule for each address you want to have checked, set the filter type to GOOD, and under Actions choose the option to 'Never mark this email for delete'
