Dark Theme

Sat Dec 21, 2019 5:51 pm

What I would love to see with MailWasher is the option of a dark theme.
I have a dark theme on Win 10, Firefox and eMclient so switching to MailWasher, with its bright white background, is really harsh on the eyes, particularly on a large monitor.

Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to all.

is there any progress on this? I work at night and have all my other screens running in night mode except Mailwasher which nearly blinds me every time i switch windows. Need a night mode / dark mode toggle. Nick Bolton where are you when we need you?

I would so love a dark mode/theme for this piece of software. Anymore, I don't see why more people don't have it or a way to theme their software so that you can make every color what you want it to be.

I am tired of firetrust not making a dark version available. I would even be willing to pay a one-time reasonable fee.
I am going to find a similar software with this feature. Suggest we all do the same.

To Developers: Please consider a DARK MODE in a future release. I have started using Dark Mode on nearly every program that I use, but when I open Mailwasher it is so bright that it just overwhelms me. Is there any progress on this?

Presently no way to do this unfortunately. Just something we don't have time to do right now.

From the main screen under Display Options, there are brightness and colour options which might lessen things slightly. Note after changing the colour you need to clear the grid and recheck for the changes to take effect, in MailWasher press C then Y on keyboard to do that.

As with MailWasher Pro, this website's readability would also benefit with the option of a 'Dark Mode' . . .

I would absolutely love a dark theme. Like everyone else that has posted here...when you work or play in a dark room and then pop up Mailwasher...I'm absolutely blinded and actually get a headache from it.

As for the website having a dark mode... I'm using chrome for a browser and if you go into chrome://flags - do a search for dark and then enable it...all of your sites will be in dark mode. If you need a site in it's normal state, just turn it off and click the relaunch button.

Have a nice day!

For the website, the native browser Dark Mode works fine enough — alternatively, one can also opt for third-party browser extensions like the one I'm using on Microsoft Edge:—

Has there been any development on incorporating a "Dark Mode" into MailWasherPro 7 yet?
It has been eleven months since the last comment on this.
