MWP and Avast Premium Security

Hi Guys,

I have just updated my Avast Premium Security to the latest version, and it has taken exception to MWP.
In that it will not allow MWP to access my mail servers unless I deactivate the Avast "Mail Shield".
Is there something I have missed here?
I did have the same issue (same programs) a couple of years ago - but it seemed to resolve itself - i.e. "Mail Shield" active and MWP performing correctly as it should.
As above upon update it has re-appeared.
Is there a work round?

It is causing a bit of concern, (Not with MWP) because Avast would certify incoming and outgoing mail, (clearly visible when MWP checked mail).
This aspect is now missing, because of the deactivation of "Mail Shield".

Sorry no work around from our end, Avast Mail Shield has always been pretty much junk, so I'd just leave it off.

Thank you for your reply - appreciated.
I think I had anticipated your answer as the issue is not with MWP, but with Avast.
I asked if there was a work around, because some other issues have resulted in work around's being made by your 'Brilliant' forum members.
But alas not this one.
I have lodged a report with Avast, no reply as yet, if and when I receive one I will let you know, I am not holding my breath though.
