Prevent MW Pro 7 from multiple launches of e-mail app when using the <e-mail progam> tab (Outlook 365)

Hello,

I use MailWasher since ages, but lately I experience an issue, that annoys me incredible. I use Outlook 365 and each time I use the <E-mail Program> tab MW launches a new instance of Outlook. I checked all the relevant forums including Microsoft, but there is no way to configure Outlook in a way, that an existing instance is reopened, when I hit the appropriate tab of MW.

I created a shortcut for Outlook and added the </recycle> parameter to it. So if I use this, first, and use afterwards the <E-mail Program> of MW, I receive an error message:

• Unfortunately, there is a problem starting Outlook, It's allowed to run only one version of Outlookat a time.
  Check whether another version of Outlook is running, or try to restart the computer from the beginning.

But Outlook won't be launched again. I tried to chose the shortcut in the <Settings> menu, but it doesn't work, only <*.exe> files can be used obviously.

Does anybody has a solution for this issue?

In MailWasher under Settings >> General >> Washing Mail >> select to Use Other Application >> click Browse >> then at the bottom right change where it says Executables EXE to All Files >> that should allow you to select the shortcut you created.

firstly thank you for the solution you have provided, but it doesn't work this way. I receive an error message saying:

• Outlook
  Path is not available. Check the path and repeat the procedure.

Then I had the idea, to use the option default e-mail application, searched for <outlook.exe> and added first <blank> and then </recycle>

The path I've chosen looks like this now:

• "𝙲:\𝙿𝚛𝚘𝚐𝚛𝚊𝚖 𝙵𝚒𝚕𝚎𝚜\𝙼𝚒𝚌𝚛𝚘𝚜𝚘𝚏𝚝 𝙾𝚏𝚏𝚒𝚌𝚎\𝚛𝚘𝚘𝚝\𝙾𝚏𝚏𝚒𝚌𝚎𝟷𝟼\𝙾𝚄𝚃𝙻𝙾𝙾𝙺.𝙴𝚇𝙴" /𝚛𝚎𝚌𝚢𝚌𝚕𝚎

Now it works proper, as it did before. I tried this already but didn't add <blank> before using the <parameter>, that was the "trick"! .

I guess, during the latest update this setting vanished somehow.
