old spam showing up - can't delete

Why all of the sudden does my display show last month's spam, which I cannot wash? see attached

Try this beta, it fixes a quirk where the Classify column won't behave properly sometimes

Hmmm.... this is similar to what I am having, but it's just last few days, and mostly on one account. I can't download the exe, do I need to be a beta member?

I got it. Outlook.com has some 'focused' and 'other' inbox and feature and it was turned on, so it would randomly pick emails to go into on or the other. So, on the main settings screen turn of 'Focused inbox'. Non sense! MW has been working well for years... though I prefer the earlier interface MW6 and that you could arrow down the MW inbox and it would show each email in the preview pane. (Might just need a <Refresh()> in code after a down or up arrow. But MW6 stopped receiving email from Outlook.com about a year ago.

The arrow keys should be working to move through messages and have the preview pane update. Check where your mouse cursor is, if the cursor is over the preview pane the arrow keys will think you want to scroll the message, not the list. Just moving the mouse over the messages if it's not working.
