Thanks for any help! I'm 9 days until purchase and I'm still not convinced it saves me time if I have to mark the same ones blacklisted everyday or change from spam to blacklisted.
Thanks again. jack
I continue to get the same messages everyday that I have blacklisted, usually as SPAM. I have set it to Delete Blacklisted.

Another help told me to set the throttle up. This may have worked. In the meantime if these settings could be improved still, I'd appreciate any input. Things may be making more sense to me. ty Jack ":-D

Just to clear things up.
If an email comes into MailWasher and labelled as 'Spam'. It is not on your blacklist, and you have not blacklisted that address or domain.
If MailWasher is correctly marking your spam emails, and no good emails are getting tagged incorrectly, then you can look to reduce your Auto-delete setting you have there from say -139 to -110.
The Learning scores emails between -150 through to +150. Positive score means MailWasher thinks the email is good.
-150 is really spammy, -100 is pretty spammy, -50 is kinda spammy
The Learning is a much better tool than blacklisting, as it looks at the entire message, not just the sender.

I think this is set as default. I don't remember fooling with them. But if I had, is there better settings? I may have "enabled" learning on 2nd thought. Not sure.

Well I purchased. Somewhat reluctantly. I still do not understand why I get the same blacklisted messages everyday. They do come as SPAM but I have listed them as blacklisted. And I do not understand why they are not auto-deleted. Maybe in the next year before next payment I'll get it.

The auto-deletes only runs on new messages received.
So if an email comes in, labelled as spam, you add it to your blacklist. It won't automatically delete on future mail checks and will remain in your list of messages until you either Wash Mail manually, or restart MailWasher.
There is a 90 day refund policy as well https://www.firetrust.com/company/terms-of-sale

That's nice, the 90 day. But I'm hoping that I can catch onto it. It has to be a great tool. As it is I'm still marking tons everyday Blacklisted and then mailwash. So I'm looking to find out how this works as far as labor saving. I've posted again today about wildcard use. Maybe that will help me. I'll see if I get responses.
