I had Mailwasher working fine, sorting the emails out, and moving the ones for deletion to the top of the list as I went through them. Then something changed, so I had to reset the sorting. I sort on account name and then delete, which works fine whenever Mailwasher reads the emails, currently every 10 minutes. But when I go through the list, those that I then mark for deletion do not move, they stay in the list where they are.
What have I changed? The only changes that I made were in the sort order, so has Mailwasher changed, or am I missing something?

Re: Sorting of emails
For emails to move like that, I suspect you had them grouped by Delete. If you right click on the Delete column heading and select Group by Delete you'll split emails into two groups, depending on their delete state.
They will still be sorted in your preferred order within each group.
Let me know how that goes.

Re: Sorting of emails
I've already got that, and as I said it works every time that MW checks the emails, what it doesn't now do is move the deleted emails immediately to the delete group as I flag them for deletion, which it was doing before.

Re: Sorting of emails
Can you send me some logs. To do that go Help >> Send Support Logs >> enter a brief note like 'as per forum' >> in the Ticket Number field enter chris >> Send Logs >> reply back here once sent, so I can check they arrived all OK.

Re: Sorting of emails
Great, thanks.
The logs show the sorting as you describe but not the grouping. Try the grouping by Delete as mentioned above.
Creating a delete group will mean messages will move from one group to another when that state changes.
There isn't a way to make that behaviour happen without grouping
