I occasionally see this in the Recycle Bin. I have a LOT of filters that cover pretty much everything that comes in, other than new senders, subjects etc, that obviously won't hit. The no-hits show up in the Recycle BIn with a user-created status of "Unsure", which is my "guaranteed fall thru" regular filter when none of the good OR bad filters hit (it looks for a @). Lately, tho, I've been seeing some messages that were identified a long while ago as valid ones showing up in the Recycle Bin as Status simply "Good", but which should have hit a valid filter, certainly the Unsure one! I have verified that in a Regex app with all the headers and the filter(s) in question. Is this something I'm doing, or is just a "full moon" as it were? MWP 7.12.38

Off hand I don't recall the inner workings very well when it comes to filters and the Recycle Bin, but it looks like if a filter gets removed MailWasher will in turn no longer display anything in the Recycle Bin relevant to that filter.

No, not likely. I do have a LOT of filters and add to them from time to time as needed, but I almost never remove them since unfortunately the crap doesn't let up The labeled "goods" are not all THAT frequent, but they always fit a valid filter. I can restore them, and they go to the right filter. Not really THAT big a deal, but more of an annoyance, I guess.
