My notification sound goes off every time mail comes. THATS a lot of beeping and bleeping. Is there anyway I could have the notification just for FRIENDS and no other?

Try under Settings >> General >> Notifications >> set the option 'Don't notify me if email is spam.'
This would still trigger the notification on any email that MailWasher thinks is good however, not just Friends.

Thank you so much. I can't see a name but I think this is the way. Shame you can't have a select tone for GOOD and FRIENDS . . . leave the SPAN and BLACKLIST silent. If I heard the GOOD notification I could just say, Self get that later. If it was a FRIEND and it had a different sound then I'd drop what I was doing and go check it out. Dreaming. lol I see no place for Kudos or Solved. If I've missed those let me know.
