If an email has purely remote content it will not always display.

For example when remote content email arrives, select "View in HTML" then tick "SHOW REMOTE CONTENT" gives a blank display.

Download or online open the email via a mail program and it all shows as it should.

Next time you get one of these messages, can you click on Show Email Info at the top left of the email preview >> select the source tab >> right click over the email data and click Select All >> right click over the highlighted text and select Copy All >> if you can paste that into a text file and email it to me at [email protected]

FTR, I have received a couple (like 2 out of 500 emails) of these too. That is, I get (from a legitimate sender) what appears to be a blank email and when I check Show remote content, it still appears blank. And I know something is there because I can go out to Gmail and view the email entirely via my browser. And if I download the email into my client (Outlook) its all there too. If (when) I get another, I will send you the source data.

I was just going to post about this in MWP 7.12.57 when I saw this post. Obviously it isn't fixed yet, but glad to know it's not just ME I was assuming it's due to the sender and the way the message is formatted? Maybe not? Something else? Do we even know why it happens?

Interestingly, I often see 2 emails come in for example, same day, even same sender, not necessarily at the same time, and one has the View button the other does not. There does not seem to be any kind of commonality in terms of the sender tho, and it happens rather frequently.

PS did note the message below about trying to view the text, will try that next time it happens.
