Mailwasher only finds certain messages.
Mailwasher finds message #2, but not message #1. What can this depend on?

Is this an IMAP account in MailWasher ? You can check under Settings >> Accounts >> Incoming >> says at the top >> if it is IMAP are these emails flagged as Read ?
If the emails are flagged as Read, MailWasher by default won't load them, if you click Advanced in the area mentioned above >> there is an option Download Read Email which you can check >> Save >> to load those messages.

I use POP3 for this account. Where should this email be flagged as Read? Not in Mailwasher, because it never gets there.
Under Advanced I have only PIPELINING Enable for checking mail and Enable fror deleting mail. Both are checked.

OK, if it's POP then MailWasher should be just be loading all emails in the Inbxo folder.

Check first under Settings >> Accounts >> Incoming >> that Store Cached Emails is not checked, if it is, restart MailWasher >> see if the emails load as expected.
If not, send me some logs, to do that go Help >> Send Support Logs >> enter a brief note like 'as per forum' >> in the Ticket Number field enter chris >> Send Logs >> reply back here once sent, so I can check they arrived OK.

Now it has happened again. It happens about every tenth time. Annoying. A message from PayPal stayed in Gmail's Inbox and one from Firetrust ended up in the Spambox. I have sent a Support log.

P.S. The PayPal-mail I now found in the Recicle Bin of MW also filtred.

I can see the PayPal email was auto-deleted. So first under Settings >> Spam Tools >> Spam Ratings >> uncheck teh auto-delete option >> Save.
You also have auto-delete enabled for the Blacklist, so if you want to change that go Settings >> Spam Tools >> Blacklist >> Options.

With those off, you want to see these messages appear in MailWasher, train them as Good and add to the Friends List if they are not already.


You could also try using IMAP in MailWasher and see if this improves the message pick up, that is assuming that these messages are not all being lost from auto-delete.

Under Settings >> Accounts >> select the Incoming tab >> make sure Store Cached Emails is not checked >> change to IMAP at the top >> Save.
Once done, then click Advanced >> there are two other options you'll want to look at, one is how many days of emails to download, default is 7.
The other is to download emails flagged as Read. For example if you were to read a GMail message in the Inbox https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox it will flag as Read, when this option is not set MailWasher would then ignore it.

This is happening to me in Pop3 as well. I don't want to use IMAP. I've now managed to find the download all option and the collect all not just seven days.

I have all the cache stuff turned off.

Sadly although I can now get all my emails Mailwasher is randomly marking them with a dustbin for delete and I can't remove this.

It's so annoying.
