Using MW pro with AVG, keep getting slow checking on incoming emails and or errors - when switching avg off temporarily, the emails are checked dead fast with no issues. Any ideas how to solve please?

I would just switch the Email Shield scanner off in AVG. As you're using MW you are already scanning your mail and the real-time AVG scanner is the true protection.

Ideally yes, when it works without problems.

But email scanning for viruses isn't necessary, as the main AVG engine would still work if you were to download then trigger the email virus. As you are already checking your emails MailWasher, which isn't able to activate an email virus, you've already got an extra layer of protection.

Okay, thanks. Not ideal, as I really wanted AVG to work as it's meant to. On my previous exact same setup, it was a lot faster?

Must admit, I'm not happy with disabling AVG. Does anyone else here also have slow downloading in Mailwasher due to AVG running?
