I wonder what I am doing wrong. All my accounts are up-today and working. Where can I see if restore is set to restore to my original account?

Check first the SMTP settings for the account(s) under Settings >> Accounts >> Outgoing.
For Comcast it should be smtp.comcast.net
Then under Advanced port should be 587
SMTP Authentication should be enabled and set to Use same as Incoming
Secure Connection type should be TLS

WOW! It worked ... even though the email from OnStar was blank when retrieved ...

If you go Settings >> General >> Checking Mail >> set the Spam Throttle to 500 lines >> Save >> restart MailWasher.

What perhaps happened is that MailWasher did not retrieve enough of the email (represented by those line numbers) when it deleted the message, so it only restored the small portion it did see. Increasing the lines means MailWasher will have more of the message to store when it deletes from now on.
