Washing mail

I received three messages from NZ today but hey will not wash to Thunderbird.WHY
If they are sitting on the sever/showing in MailWasher, but not downloading to ThunderBird check if you have any kind of filter in ThunderBird that might be blocking the download, you can see that under Tools >> Message Filters.
I take it other messages are able to come into ThunderBird OK ?
