Siteground email issues with Mailwasher Pro

Siteground email issues with Mailwasher Pro

I have Siteground as my email server. I purchased Mailwasher Pro tp handling my spam/not wanted email.

I have tried everything suggested by Siteground. Now I'm reaching out to Firetrust to help

Error log:

This could suggest the following problems:

- Your username or password is incorrect.
- The server address is incorrect.
- You are trying to connect through an invalid port.

I have confirmed that my username and password are correct
I have used ALL suggested ports SSL and without.

Any ideas?

First check the settings, should be

Username : your full email address
Server Type : IMAP
Server Address : mail.<your_domain>.com
Under the Advanced settings, SSL should be enabled, which sets the port to 993

Once that done, and assuming it still fails, can you send me some logs.

To do that go Help >> Send Support Logs >> enter a note like 'as per forum' >> in the Ticket Number field enter chris >> Send Logs.
Reply back here once sent, so we can check the logs arrived all OK.

I take it too, if you try and Import the account into MailWasher from your email program (Under Settings >> Accounts >> Import) that it isn;t working, or not bringing in the password ?
