MW No Longer Opens On Top
After a reboot today of Win10 machine, my MW 7.12.54 no longer opens on top of opened windows. Is there a setting that I'm missing? I've been using MW for over 15 years and this change is highly annoying. ANyone have any suggestions?

So this is on startup of the machine, MailWasher isn't taking focus ?
Check under Settings >> General >> Application >> that MailWasher is not set to start minimised, if it is uncheck >> Save.

I've changed that setting as you suggest, but my problem is with launching the program from the icon in the tray - it opens but as a background window instead of becoming the window with focus. Again, this began right after the latest update to Win10.

Re: MW No Longer Opens On Top
Do any other programs do this, or just MailWasher ?
I would start by running a system file check on the machine, to repair any damaged or corrupt system files. First running the DISM command, then the SFC, details are here

Re: MW No Longer Opens On Top
This is only happening with MW. I ran the 2 scans and they found nothing wrong.

Update: it has started happening with Explorer windows, so this is a Windows thing, not MW.

Re: MW No Longer Opens On Top
OK sure thing.
First, try a right-click on the taskbar and uncheck Lock the taskbar. Once unlocked, right click again and select lock.
If still no good, then from the Search icon type Control Panel >> open this then open the Ease of Access Center >> click the item 'Make the mouse easier to use' >> make sure option 'Activate a window by hovering over it with the mouse' is not checked.
Also try checking 'Prevent windows from being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen'
If that doesn't work, then from Search type REGEDIT and open the Registry Editor >> on the left navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop then with Desktop selected on the left, on the right look at the two values, ForegroundFlashCount and ForegroundLockTimeout. What are these showing for you ?
