Email Eval deleting error

Using MW 7.12.54. Have had an idea the evaluation operation was deleting some emails in error.
I've just searched one deleted email with all my "My words" filter entries and none where found.
Learning showed +149 points
Friends List showed +200 points
Custom filters (My words) showed -200 points
Overall score -51 ! not the result I get with a calculator, but perhaps I'm missing something.
The email deleted was an important one and only surface after I accused the sender of not sending it! Very red face.
If anyone can help me understand how to fix this I'd appreciate it.

Yeah that sounds off, were they perhaps not in your Friends List at the time, as that would make sense then.
What I would probably suggest, is create a new filter, make it set to tag emails as Good, click the drop down beside Add Rule >> select Spam Tool Rule >> and set Sender is on my Friends List >> Save. Move this filter to the top of the list.

What would happen is when a Friends List email matches that filter, it then kicks out and will not process any further filters. This would stop your My Words filter matching Friends.
