We're new MW users and having a difficult time managing the identification of spam, using filters.
For instance, we have created a regex filter that checks for "reward" or "sale" etc. (without quotes) in the subject. If such a message is found, we would like to:
A. Mark it for delete
B. Have it show in MW as red spam.
We seem to be able to get it marked for delete, but not the red spam identification. We have given it a spam score of -200 in the filter specification, but that seemed to make no difference.
Any guidance will surely be appreciated.

Re: How to mark a filtered message as spam (red)
It appears that once we have explicitly defined the mail as spam by giving it a thumbs down, then the next time the rule fires the mail will show as red (given a score of -200, in this case). Is this correct?
How does the spam score applied using the filter rule action play against the thumbs up/down application?
