Installed MW FREE, set up all ok apart from it would not connect to my gmail server.
So I unistalled (geek unistaller) and downloaded from another source.

This download was for pro ????(dont know how that happened) anyways

Pro will not install message says "an older version is already installed and cant be uninstalled contact your admin"

I have searched ALL of my win 10 folders, program files, program data, hidden files, task manager, services (regedit) even HK key software etc.

Firetrust/MW is simply NOT on my laptop

Also why wont it connect to my gmail server?
I have pop. on the settings and turned on in gmail
I have a log of errors as long as, and all say the same "Cannot connect to server"

any help please folks would be grateful

For the GMail account, you most likely need an App Password https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/185833?hl=en
The main GMail password stays the same, the App Password is just to use in MailWasher.

For the installation issue, if you check the Control Panel, Programs and Features >> is there any listing for MailWasher you can remove there ?

I'm not familiar with the uninstaller utility you used, perhaps it didn't do the job and remove all necessary parts.
